In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No.299 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 392 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have looted the cash, cheque book, owner book etc. from the informant and fled away.

From the impugned order, it appears that the petitioner has got criminal antecedents in similar nature. Looking to the nature of allegation and antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78833 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
