2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajauli P.S. Case No. 166 of 2023 registered on 17.03.2023 lodged under Sections 302, 34 of the I.P.C. which has been rejected vide order dated 07.07.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 38923 of 2023.

3. Counsel further submits that petitioner is in custody since 06.04.2023 having clean antecedent. Counsel further submits that on the previous occasion this Court has pleased to call for the report about the progress of the trial. Charge has already been framed and prosecution witnesses has already been started.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes to prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3585 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 bail.

5. From the fresh progress report it transpires that trial is likely to be concluded in a short period of 6 months, as such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitionera at this stage.

6. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
