The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Case No. C-2/547/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 135 litres of Nepali Soufi wine from the joint possession of two persons travelling in an auto rickshaw after the said auto rickshaw was apprehended by the Police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and the auto rickshaw also does not belong to the petitioner. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge (Excise Act), Sitamarhi in connection with Case No. C-2/547/2018.
