JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 342 of 2018, G.R. No. 2167 of 2018 for the offenses under Sections 307, 302, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the petitioner had approached this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 60925 of 2018 and prayer for bail was rejected vide order dated 20.11.2018. While rejecting the prayer for bail, liberty was granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer after nine months, if substantive progress is not made in the trial. The petitioner has approached this Court after expiry of more than a year. He is in custody since 11.7.2018 and he has no criminal antecedent.
