2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kahalgaon (Ghogha) P.S. Case No. 648 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 326, 307, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has stabbed the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

5. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in jail since 04.07.2023.

6. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail.

7. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the assailant of the deceased, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

9. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
