The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Barahara P.S. Case No. 343 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 120(B)/34, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 24.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69890 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite and conclude the trial. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85 of 2024(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 report, dated 19.01.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'X'. From its perusal it appears that the case is fixed for committing the court of session.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within 9 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
