2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:

(i) for issuance of a direction to the respondent authorities for measurement

Patna High Court CWJC No.1047 of 2024(2) dt.25-04-2024 2/3 petitioners ancestral land. of the (ii) for issuance of a direction to the respondent authorities that the application filed for measurement of the land of ancestral property of the petitioners which is pending before respondent no.4 for final adjudication, may be disposed off.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he only wants measurement of his land and submits that a representation has been preferred before the respondent no. 4, the Circle Officer, Kurhani (Annexure-1/4 to the petition).

4. Learned State counsel submits that a bare perusal of the annexure would show that it is in the mode of representation and it is not the case of the petitioner that a proper application along with requisite fee has been deposited so that the said office can take steps.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she shall be preferring an appropriate application along with the requisite fee before the office of the respondent no. 4, the Circle Officer, Kurhani.

6. In case such, application along with the requisite fee is filed within four weeks, the respondent no.4 shall take appropriate steps for measurement of the land of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1047 of 2024(2) dt.25-04-2024 3/3 petitioner after putting all concerned to notice, fixing a date when the parties shall remain present and the land can be measured.

7. All the exercise should be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.
