Mr.Manoj Kumar, AC to SC-12 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 26-06-2023 The petitioners claim to have discharged work as DDT Sprayers on seasonal basis.

It is not in dispute that petitioners have never even assumed the status of daily-wagers. Their services were availed of on a seasonal basis as per requirement intermittently. Recognising this fact, it appears from the counteraffidavit that a panel was prepared by the district authorities for giving some benefit to the DDT Sprayers, in process of selection

4/4 to be done in the district. The panel was prepared on 26.08.2017 for one year which lapsed on 26.08.2018, but there was no vacancy available.

The petitioners have not made out any right to extension of the panel beyond the period of one year or that they have any enforceable claim for regularisation, having regard to the nature of their earlier employment admittedly being seasonal.
