JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 16-03-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 31.08.2019, seeks bail in connection with Mehus P.S. Case No. 7 of 2019 dated 21.05.2019 instituted for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant, who is the uncle of the deceased, has alleged that the deceased was stabbed by one Hari Om Kumar @ Gudar who ran away along with three of his other associates. The petitioner has not been named in the FIR, but the same informant has named him later during the course of investigation. On such accusation, other accused persons have been granted bail by different benches of this Court.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the period of his custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78667 of 2019(3) dt.16-03-2020 2/2 bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Sheikhpura in connection with Mehus P.S. Case No. 7 of 2019.

While saying so, the Court has also taken note of the clean antecedents of the petitioner.
