1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) To issue appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents authorities to remove the encroachment from the Gairmazarua Aam land bearing Khesra No. 641, Khata No. 149, Thana No. 296, situated in front of and near/around the house of the petitioner for which

Patna High Court CWJC No.1046 of 2024(2) dt.29-04-2024 2/2 the public authorities have passed orders for removal but nothing have been removed till date. ii) To issue appropriate direction/directions in the nature of mandamus directing the private respondents to remove the encroachment in question from the said public land in pursuant to the orders passed by the public authorities."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Circle Officer, Baikunthpur, DistrictGopalganj, to conclude the proceedings of the pending Encroachment Case No. 7 of 2022-23.

3. Having regard to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Circle Officer, Baikunthpur, District-Gopalganj, to conclude the proceedings of the aforesaid Encroachment Case No. 7 of 202223, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of 8 weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
