The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 175 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding dacoity having been committed by unknown accused persons.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case upon confessional statement having been made by the co-accused person, namely, Sk. Mahir. It is further submitted that the stolen articles have not been recovered from the petitioner and the petitioner is having a clean antecedent.
