ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 28-03-2025 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that out of Rs.12,33,136/- raised by the petitioner for the work which was done in the year 2018, the authorities have paid an amount of Rs.10,03,782/- after making necessary deductions. Counsel has stated that the authorities have not given the break-up of the amount paid and the deductions made by the authorities. Further it is stated that the authorities have not paid the interest for the delayed payment. Counsel stated that though the work was completed in the year 2018 the amount has been paid

Patna High Court CWJC No.308 of 2024(10) dt.28-03-2025 2/2 recently in the month of April, 2024, counsel has therefore prayed this Hon'ble Court to direct the authorities to pay the interest on the delayed payment.

2. Having regard to the fact the major portion of the bill amount has already been paid to the petitioner, the present Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a suitable representation for payment of the interest on the delayed payment.

3. If such a representation is given the same shall be considered and necessary orders will be passed within a period of eight weeks thereof on its own merits in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
