2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"I. an appropriate writ may be issued quashing the order dated-23.05.2018 passed by the learned Divisional Commissioner, Purnea Division, Purnea, the Respondent No-2 in Misc.
Patna High Court CWJC No.24135 of 2018(2) dt.01-12-2025 2/3 Case No.59 of 2017 as contained in Annexure-23 whereby and where under the Respondent No-2 the learned Divisional Commissioner, Purnea Division, Purnea has been pleased to allow the Appeal filed by the Respondent NO.7, cancelling the settlement of Dhabaul Part jalkar, Thana No.195, Khata No.407, Khesra No.1249, 1251 and 1255 made with the Respondent No.8 society by an order vide Letter No.400 dated-03.06.2017 and continued the earlier settlement made with the Respondent No.7 society till 30.06.2019.
II. That an appropriate writ may be issued quashing all the consequential order issued after the impugned order dated-23.05.2018 contained in Annexure-23 passed by the learned Divisional Commissioner, Purnea Division, Purnea, the Respondent NO. 2.
III. That an appropriate writ may be issued commanding upon the Respondent No-4 the District Fisheries Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Katihar not to dispossess the petitioner from the jalkar in question namely Dhabaul Part

IV. That any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioners are entitled to."
3. It has been informed by the learned State counsel that with the passage of time, the case has become infructuous as the settlement was made till 30.06.2019.
4. Be that as it may, since there is no appearance on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
