The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S.Case No.531 of 2019 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22 and 24 of the NDPS Act.

Three small packets of brown sugar was allegedly seized from the possession of the petitioner. Submission is that quantity is not mentioned in the FIR because it was not measured. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 15.07.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82098 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 petitioner be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ADJ-XVII, Patna in connection with Special Case No.77 of 2019 arising out of Patrakar Nagar P.S.Case No.531 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
