The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ghorasahan (Jitna) P.S. Case No. 154 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(a)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons having killed the deceased victim lady on account of nonfulfillment of the demand for dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased victim lady and the mother-in-law has already been granted by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 13.9.2019 passed in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79552 of 2019(2) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 Criminal Miscellaneous No. 44896 of 2019. It is further submitted that the husband is languishing in custody, hence, no prejudice would be caused to the prosecution in case, the petitioner is granted bail. The petitioner is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 11.6.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM Sikrahana at Dhaka, District-East Champaran in connection with Ghorasahan (Jitna) P.S. Case No. 154 of 2019.
