The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No.63C3 Ex./2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

According to the prosecution case, the house of Dharmendra Kumar was raided and from there about 4.500 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. Dharmendra Kumar was apprehended and he is said to have disclosed that the petitioner managed to flee away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no manner of concern with the liquor recovered from the house of Dharmendra Rai. He has been made accused due to dirty village politics.

No.3726 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Having considered the facts aforesaid, above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 6th Additional District Judge-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Excise Case No.63C3 Ex./2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
