The petitioner, an aspirant for the post of teacher in terms with Advertisement No. 26/2023 has preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to consider his case for appointment; in view of the assertion that the petitioner has obtained the cut-off marks fixed by the Bihar Public Service Commission.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent, Bihar Public Service Commission, with a categorical averment that final result for class 1 to 5 was

The petitioner could not be declared successful as he obtained only 42 marks, whereas the cut-off marks was 46 in his category i.e. Scheduled Caste (02) Category, which fact also fortifies from the revised cut-off marks published by the Commission on 12.12.2023.

4. Considering the aforesaid facts that the petitioner could not obtain the cut-off marks, no purpose would served to continue with the present writ petition; accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed.
