The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 133 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 55.5 litres of Nepali liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.10.2019 and does not have criminal antecedents.

Considering period of custody of the petitioner and his clean background, he is directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79875 of 2019(2) dt.16-12-2019 2/2 his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-Cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with G.O. Case No. 133 of 2019.
