The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No. 179 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 135 litres of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he has got no criminal antecedent and no recovery has been made from the conscious possession of the petitioner herein. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 11.09.2018.
