The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bounsi P.S. Case No.236 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. The accusation is that in course of police patrolling duty, both the petitioners were seen and apprehended with bags. On search of the bag of the petitioner no.1, 13 bottles, each containing 750 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, whereas from the bag of the petitioner no.2, 11 bottles, each containing 750 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, were recovered. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79328 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedents and are in custody since 20.09.2019.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka, in connection with Bounsi P.S.
