JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. i) For issuance of appropriate order /orders, direction/directions, writ/writs specially in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondents concerned to consider the claim of petitioner against the left over seats of 267 in pursuant to Advertisement for appointment on the post of Amin conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Department of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1021 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 2/3 Revenue & Land Reforms (Amin) 2019 in which petitioner appeared qualified in category of Scheduled caste in which final selection list of 1767 candidates were made but out of which only 1500 candidates have joined and rest 267 posts remained unfilled and petitioner being qualified in written test may be called for counselling and be appointed.
(ii) For further direction upon the Respondents concerned to allow the petitioner to continue on the post of Amin on contractual basis in view of Government Resolution dated 21.01.2021 issued from the level of General Administration Department under which it has been decided that if the contractual employee who are continuing and participated in examination held for regular appointment in which he could not succeed then against unfilled regular post those contractual employee may be allowed to continue and as such petitioner may be allowed to continue."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1021 of 2024(2) dt.29-02-2024 3/3 the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
