JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 13-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the present application is filed for issuance of appropriate writ or writs directing the Respondent authorities to take proper steps for removal of encroachment made over the public land for which application has been filed by the petitioners before the Respondent authorities but nothing has been done as yet."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the RespondentState has submitted that the final order has already been passed

Patna High Court CWJC No.3316 of 2024(2) dt.13-05-2024 2/2 by the Circle Officer, Shahpur, District-Bhojpur, in connection with Encroachment Case No. 4 of 2018-19 under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, on 21.6.2023 and eight encroachers have been issued notices under Section 6(2) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, out of which seven encroachments have already been removed and the Respondent-State is in the process of removing the rest of encroachment and the same would definitely be removed within a period of eight weeks from today. It is directed accordingly. 3.
