2. The petitioner claims to be the widow of late Dineshwar Goswami, who had retired as Deputy Accounts Controller, Finance (Audit) Department, Magadh Division, Gaya, Government of Bihar. After his superannuation, he was engaged as an Advisor in the Pay Verification Cell of Higher Education Directorate, Education Department on contract basis

Patna High Court CWJC No.25766 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 for two years on 24.06.2014. He died on 17.06.2015.

3. The only grievance, which the petitioner is making in the present application is that the petitioner's husband was not paid any emoluments in the nature of honorarium or otherwise, consequent upon his engagement as Advisor in the Pay Verification Cell on 24.06.2014 till his death on 17.06.2015.

Considering the nature of relief, which the petitioner is seeking, this writ application is disposed of with a direction that let the Director, Higher Education, Education Department, Government of Bihar consider the petitioner's claim and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If it is found that the petitioner's husband was not paid any amount for the period during which he had discharged his duties as Advisor in the Pay Verification Cell, it must be ensured that the amount is paid within a period of one month thereafter to the petitioner, subject to necessary verification.
