In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Sessions Tr. No. 582 of 2016 arising out of Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 981 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 307, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act and later on Section 304(B) of the I.P.C. was added.
Out of nine witnesses, four witnesses have been examined and rest five witnesses are still to be examined by the prosecution.
In view of the above, this Court directs the court below to conclude the trial within a period of six months from today.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79206 of 2018(3) dt.20-02-2019 2/2 The Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur is also directed to ensure production of the rest of the witnesses for their examination.
