2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 394 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, One country made pistol and five cartridges have been recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 31.05.2023.
4. The petitioner is accused in 13 more similar or serious cases. Most of the cases are of Chowk Police Station.
5. Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1950 of 2024(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 accused in 13 more criminal cases of serious nature, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
7. In these circumstances, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna is directed to get the trial of all the cases pending against the petitioner expedited.
8. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge, Patna as well as the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna for its compliance through FAX or e-mail forthwith.
