2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the informant namely Pravin Kumar alleged that the accused persons including this petitioner lured this informant to invest Rs.7.5 lacs in their Company, namely, Financial Services Pvt. Limited with false promise of getting lucrative interest. It is alleged that only Rs. 1

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3111 of 2025(4) dt.14-05-2025 2/3 lac was returned to the informant and accused persons refused to pay the rest amount.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to local politics. It is submitted that the informant deposited the money with co-accused Narayan Prasad and no money has been given to the petitioner or credited in his account. Supplementary affidavit has been filed by the petitioner stating that petitioner, in discharge of his liability, has provided a cheque of State Bank of India dated 31.12.2024 of a sum of Rs. 1 lac. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State as well as the informant oppose the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai or successor court in Lakhisarai Police Station Case No. 127 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down under
