The petitioners are in custody in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 679 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 420, 406 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners is that they are involved in snatching the truck. He further submits that the petitioners were not named in the FIR and their names surfaced on the confessional statement, yet they have not been put on test identification parade. The petitioners are in custody since 19.07.2019.
