Petitioner seeks bail in NDPS Case No. 02 of 2018 arising out of Case No. 177C2 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b) of the NDPS Act. Allegation is recovery of 150 Kg Ganja from a vehicle which was being boarded by the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 14.05.2018.

Considering the amount of recovery of 150 Kg of Ganja, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
