2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ara Nagar P.S.Case No.62 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20, 21(c) of the NDPS Act.

3. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. It has come during the investigation that recovered 293 grams of Heroin belongs to the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 03.09.2023. The petitioner has clean antecedents.

5. Considering the recovery of more than commercial quantity of Heroin, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3485 of 2024(3) dt.09-04-2024 2/2 stands rejected.

6. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible. If the trial is not concluded , the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
