The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special [Excise] Case No.531 of 2019, arising out of Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.430 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 1000 pouches, each containing 200 ml. country made liquor, from the Tata Sumo Victa vehicle, which was being driven by Sanju Singh and the petitioner was found sitting adjacent to the driver. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, in fact, the petitioner was present in his village, where the said vehicle was parked but, on mere suspicion, the

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Saharsa, in connection with Special [Excise] Case No.531 of 2019, arising out of Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.430 of 2019.
