The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 38(2), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
About more than 300 litres of liquor was recovered from an under-construction building of the Panchayat. The people informed that the liquor is of the petitioner. Though the petitioner had denied that he is owner of those recovered liquor, however, the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of identical nature. Hence, I am not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail in connection with Turkauliya (Banjariya) Police Station Case No. 680 of 2018 pending in the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3968 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Court of learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Excise Judge, East Champaran at Motihari.
