The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Panapur P.S. Case No. 111 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 147/ 148/ 149/ 427/ 436, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 27 of Arms Act and Section 17 C.L.A. Act. The allegation is regarding the accused persons having stopped the vehicle of the informant and having set it on fire. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner and he has been arrested merely on the basis of his name having been disclosed by the informant upon acquiring knowledge about the same from other accused persons, who were talking amongst themselves while setting the vehicle on fire. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.79372 of 2018(2) dt.18-01-2019 2/2 antecedent and is languishing in custody since 19.10.2018. Lastly, it is submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have already been granted bail, one of such order is being dated 19.05.2014 passed by this Court in Cr. Misc.14963 of 2014. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-IV, Saran, Chapra in connection with Panapur P.S. Case No. 111 of 2013.
