2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 553 of 2024 dated 07.07.2024 registered for the offences punishable under sections 201 and 304B read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The main submissions advanced by petitioners' counsel are that the marriage of the deceased took place on

No.281 of 2025(2) dt.03-12-2025 2/3 01.12.2014 with the son of the petitioner Nos. 1 & 4 and all the petitioners are in-laws of the deceased, in fact the deceased died on 10.09.2023 at 9:55 P.M. due to cardio-respiratory arrest and in this regard, the hospital namely Sri Sai Hospital, Kankarbagh, Patna, where the deceased was treated, had issued the death certificate showing the cause of death and the same has been enclosed with this petition and the most important ground of the petitioners is the extraordinary delay of about nine months in the registration of the FIR by the informant without giving plausible explanation and further, in the entire FIR there is no specific allegation against any of the petitioners with regard to their involvement in the commission of the alleged offence.
4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioners.

In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the above stated facts and mainly the extraordinary delay having taken place on the part of the informant in lodging the FIR and in the entire FIR, the informant has not disclosed any specific role of the petitioners in the commission of the alleged offence and coupled with the fact that the marriage of the deceased took place about nine years ago from the date of her death, in my opinion, it is a fit case to grant the relief of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.281 of 2025(2) dt.03-12-2025 3/3 anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection with Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 553 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
