The petitioners, in the instant proceedings claim to be Lok Shikshaks. It is submission of the petitioners' counsel that having regard to their long service, they are entitled to age relaxation in the matter of engagement in Government service. He submits that other similarly situated persons had approached this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 1109 of 2017. In the said proceedings, the petitioners have been granted relief as claimed by the petitioners in the instant petition. The petitioners' claim parity in the matter of age relaxation for being considered for engagement in Government service. He has placed reliance on the judgment in the case of Prafull Kumar Mandal and Ors. Vs. The State of Bihar (C.W.J.C. No. 1109 of 2017). The petitioners' counsel submits that the petitioners will also approach the respondent authorities by making a representation for being extended the same benefits.

If the petitioners make the representation within a period of four weeks, then the respondent authorities having

Patna High Court CWJC No.498 of 2019(2) dt.08-08-2019 3/3 regard to all facts, will consider the petitioners' claim for grant of parity and dispose of the same with a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
