1. This application has been filed for direction upon the respondent no. 3 to consider and grant arms license to the petitioner, forthwith, which has remained pending for consideration for more than two years.

2. The District Magistrate, Patna (respondent no. 3) is directed to consider the pending arms license application of the petitioner within six months from the date of communication of this order.

3. While passing this order, this court has not applied its mind on the facts of the case and this direction should not mean that the petitioner shall be granted arms license
