2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:- (i) for direction to the respondent no. 6 to continue taking land revenue rent from the petitioner since 2016 till date.

(ii) for direction to take administrative action against the respondent no. 7 for committing revenue loss to the Government by adopting delaying tactics

Patna High Court CWJC No.2609 of 2024(2) dt.14-05-2024 2/2 and harassing the petitioner.

3. Admittedly, the rent receipt was earlier in the name of Sonamati Devi who claims to be the grand mother, now dead. The genealogy of the family shows that Sonamati Devi was blessed with three sons and the petitioner is son of one of the brother, Kamlesh Tiwari. Further, it also shows that he is having a brother Mantu Tiwari.

In such circumstances, how the petitioner claims himself to be the sole heir to get the land in question mutated in his name.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition to take appropriate steps.
