The petitioner has filed this writ application for issuing writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the arrears of salary in between 01.03.2010 to 31.03.2012. Submission is that the petitioner was appointed on the post of Peon in Nalanda College, Biharsharif, Nalanda, in the light of Memo No. 125/GIC, dated 06.07.2001, issued by the Registrar, Magadh University, Boddh Gaya. The petitioner was

Patna High Court CWJC No.24999 of 2019(2) dt.13-12-2019 2/2 getting the salary from the date of his joining, but, his salary was stopped by the University from March, 2010 to March, 2012, but, the arrears of salary has not been paid till today in spite of the several applications to the Principal, Nalanda College, Biharsharif, Nalanda. Further, submission is that, at present, Nalanda College, Biharsharif, Nalanda, is under the Patliputra University.

Let the petitioner file a fresh representation before the Principal, Nalanda College, Biharsharif, Nalanda, within a period of three weeks, from today, who, after verifying the claim of the petitioner, will forward the same to the Registrar, Patliputra University, Patna (respondent no. 5) within two weeks, thereafter, and the Registrar, Patliputra University, Patna, will pass the order on the said representation by a speaking order and ensure the payment of arrears of salary of the petitioner without any further delay.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this application stands disposed of.
