1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Learned counsel submits that Modification Application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 24.08.2023 in Cr. Misc. No. 54763 of 2023 on the ground that the petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated for seeking anticipatory bail. The Court is taking a consistent view not to extend the period of surrender in the event if the accused has not surrendered within time as such, the Court find no merit in the Modification Application.
