2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 264 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2), 238 and 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that Parvati Kumari (deceased) was married to one Naveen Kumar in year 2021. It is alleged that she was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry demand by her in-laws. It is further alleged that on 10.09.2025, the informant has called on the mobile of the deceased which was picked by her husband and when he was asked to hand over the phone to Parvati, she did not allow and the mobile was switched off. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84958 of 2025(2) dt.16-12-2025 2/3 informant came to matrimonial house of the deceased. After perusing the C.C.T.V. footage, she came to know that Naveen Kumar and Chhotu Kumar were taking away the dead body of the deceased on a bike.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. He is not a family member or in-law of the deceased. He is a worker at the shop of husband of the deceased. He was called by his shop owner with a bike and has come there with bike. He does not know anything regarding the occurrence and has got no role therein. It has also been submitted that the only role of this petitioner in the occurrence is that he has brought his bike on the instructions of his shop owner. The main thrust of allegation is against Naveen Kumar and Chhotu Kuamr. Petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 14.09.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the application for bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named

No.84958 of 2025(2) dt.16-12-2025 3/3 petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 264 of 2025.
