2. The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 1010 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

3. As per F.I.R., allegation against the petitioner is that total 17.5 litres of foreign liquor is recovered from the rented house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has one criminal antecedent of similar nature in which he is on bail.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid submission of the parties and also the illicit liquor was recovered from the rented house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Hence, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
