2. The present application has been filed for directing the authority concerned to investigate properly and take action against the person who has kidnapped the wife of the informant. It is relevant to clear here that the petitioner was living in Delhi and on 02.07.2024, his wife went to her neighbour, namely, Shata Devi, wife of Dharambeer Yadav, thereafter, she did not return to her house. When he got to know about the same from his daughter, he came back from Delhi and lodged the Karja P.S. Case No.164 of 2024 but till date no action has been taken by

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.75 of 2025(2) dt.30-06-2025 2/2 the Karja Police for the recovery of his wife.

3. For the reliefs sought by the petitioner in the present application, petitioner may move before the concerned Court in view of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Sakiri Vasu vs. State of Uttar Pradesh reported in (2008) 2 SCC 409.

4. If such an application is filed by the petitioner, the Magistrate will pass an appropriate order in accordance with law and in accordance with the judgment passed by the Supreme Court in the case of Sakiri Vasu (supra).
