The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Barahat P.S. Case No.112 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 376(3) of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Considering the gravity of the offence as also the allegation made in the first information report that the petitioner not only ravished minor daughter of the informant but also threatened her that if she would disclose it to anyone, the videoclip recorded by him shall be circulated in social media, which fact has been supported by the victim in her statement under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am not
