JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That by this writ application, the petitioner craves indulgence of this Hon'ble court for an order / direction to the respondents for appointment / promotion of the petitioner on ClassIII post of Clerk in the Zila Prishad, Sitamarhi who has been appointed on the post of Peon on compassionate ground whereas he is legally entitled for the post of Clerk as per his qualification and considering the fact that other similarly situated persons have been appointed on the post of Clerk on compassionate ground in Zila

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Sitamarhi i.e. the respondent no. 4, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the District Development Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Sitamarhi i.e. the respondent no. 4, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
