2. This application has been filed for seeking following reliefs:

(a) To issue writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities herein to do proper investigation and take necessary action against respondent no.4 and his relatives in an incident which took place on 28.03.2020 and 19.07.2020 for which FIR vide Mahila Thana PS Case No. 64/2021 dated 24.06.2021 u/s 341/323/498(A)/313/34 IPC alongwith Dowry Prevention Act has been registered where the petitioner being a poor girl (bahu) has been physically assaulted by Respondent no. 4 and his family members after the petitioner refused to fulfil

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.19 of 2025(2) dt.24-06-2025 2/2 the illegal demand of dowry specially by respondent no. 4 i.e., gift a car to respondent no. 4.

(b) To issue writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent herein to investigate the physical assault on the petitioner after she caught her husband i.e., respondent no. 4 red handed with some other girl in compromising position.

3. This application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, for the reliefs prayed for in this writ petition, by way of filing a representation.

4. If such a representation is filed by the petitioner, then appropriate order shall be passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna.
