JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant.

2. The petitioners pray for bail in Amjhor P.S. Case No. 82 of 2025, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per F.I.R., on 18.07.2025, the informant's husband was going to his field and reached near the dairy of petitioner no. 1, he started abusing him (informant's husband) and petitioner no. 2 took out a bamboo stick and hit on the head of informant's husband, on account of which, he fell down and thereafter, both petitioners assaulted him with hand and sticks. Later, when villagers came, the petitioners ran away and informant's husband was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead. Petitioners are assailants of the deceased.

4. Considering the nature of accusation, the prayer for bail of petitioners is rejected. However, since petitioners are in custody since 19.07.2025, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
