The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Saran (Mahila) P.S.Case no.48 of 2017 dated 19.9.2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323, 379, 504 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner that is of demand of dowry from the informant and also trying to set her on fire. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is working at Delhi and the informant is not ready to live with him and there is allegation of demand of dowry and he has been falsely implicated in this concocted case. Heard learned A.P.P. and from perusal of the impugned order it appears that there is allegation of assault and further it appears that the learned trial court has tried to reconcile the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.78816 of 2018(2) dt.11-01-2019 2/2 matter and the informant has appeared on several dates but the petitioner did not appear and due to that reconciliation failed.. Having heard both sides and considering the conduct of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below on its own merit. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
