The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No- 104 of 2018 registered under Section 302 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the allegations of active participation of the petitioner in commission of murder of the mother of the informant, which finds corroboration from the post mortem examination report wherein the doctor has found finger nail mark present over both sides of the neck of the deceased and cause of death has been assigned to be throttling, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail.
