The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 144 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 38 liters of illicit liquor from the bag loaded on the motorcycle of the petitioners.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioners are having a clean antecedent and are languishing in custody since 04.11.2018.

No.4066 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2, Banka in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 144 of 2018.
