2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has filed the present writ petition with the following reliefs :- (i) For a writ of mandamus may be issued directing the respondents authorities for giving post promotion from class IV to Class III employee in Water Resources Department.
(ii) For any other relief or reliefs the petitioners are entitled to.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.948 of 2025(3) dt.23-06-2026 2/2 for fulfillment of grievance of the petitioners, representations have been filed, but till date, no decision has been taken on the same.
4. Learned counsel for the State submits that counter affidavit has not been filed, but instruction has come that no decision has been taken place on the said representation. He further submits that the said representation has been made in the year 2024 as it transpires from Annexure -P/3 of the writ petition.
5. In the light of the submissions made, it is directed to the petitioners to file a fresh representation with all details along with a copy of this order within 30 days from today before the Engineer in Chief, Water Resource Department, Bihar Patna (Respondent No. 4), who shall pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation filed by the petitioners within 90 days thereafter.
