====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-12-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. It is a case of 'dowry death'.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the Petitioner No. 1 is the father-in-law and petitioner No. 2 is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The thrust of the accusation is against the husband of the deceased, who is already in custody. The petitioners are separate in mess and property and have no

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.85119 of 2025(2) dt.09-12-2025 2/2 concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband. The petitioners are in custody since 12.07.2025 and the chargesheet has been submitted in this case.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the nature of the accusation and the period of custody, the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the above-named petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, West Muzaffarpur, in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 121 of 2025.
